City Place Elevations, digitizationBuilt in 1931, the City Place building in Oklahoma City, OK is now in significant disrepair. The only existing drawings of the City Place building at the beginning of this project, were the original 1931 blueprints. In order to begin, these 1931 blueprints needed to be digitized.

possible condo layoutIn 2007, as an office building, the property operates City Place at about half capacity. Therefore, hired Rees Associates to look into the possibility of renovating the building as well as the neighboring parking garage into a residential condominium property. I produced this model in Sketchup in order to show possible condo layouts with various square footages. ┬áRees and Associates, 2007

Kerr Parking Garage SectionThe Kerr Parking Garage renovation study was done in conjunction with the renovation study for neighboring City Place. The Kerr Parking Garage presently operates as such and is quite successful, running at full capacity. However, the parking garage presently utilizes a car lift, and therefore requires 24 hour parking attendants. The owner wanted Rees Associates to look into the possibility of converting the parking garage into a self park facility as well as the transformation of the top five floors into loft apartments. This section depicts a possible plan for this renovation.
